Silicone fluid on fabric

Silicone Fluids are water-clear liquids available in viscosities from 0.65 to 1,000,000 mm2/s, whose special properties derive from their molecular structure. These high-quality silicone fluids are based on polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS). AK series silicone fluids offer high thermal stability over a wide temperature range from -60 to +200 °C. As processing aids, they are also used to dilute RTV-2 silicones, lowering the viscosity of uncured RTV-2 silicones while reducing Shore hardness. Silicone Spray AK is a universal release agent and lubricant for industry, model making and mould making – odourless and CFC-free. The pure, undiluted raw material ensures high effectiveness and a stable range of properties, clearly recognizable by the water-clear, hydrophobic silicone film, the strong release and lubricating effect and temperature stability up to approx. +180 °C.

Applications:

  • Release agents and lubricants
  • Damping media
  • Hydraulic or transformer oils
  • Liquid dielectrics
  • Water repellents

Product range: silicone fluids and silicone sprays
